There are 5 cottages that sleep between 3 and 7 people. Larger groups can book multiple cottages and can also book the Community Space for cooking and eating together. This seats 24 people.

Wraxall Yard has been designed as a peaceful retreat for families including people with disabilities. The cottages surround a pretty shared courtyard garden providing peace and privacy for guests. From the courtyard there is a beautiful route out through farmland down to the riverbank nestled in a Site of Nature Conservation Interest, perfect for a picnic and enjoyment of the wildlife and landscape. All of this is accessed along a wheelchair-friendly boardwalk.

Each cottage has slightly different specifications for disabled access, so please have a look at each option and feel free to get in touch with any questions.

  • Height-adjustable shower seats

  • Vibrating alarms

LADYMEADE: 

2 bedrooms - 3-4 people

Ladymeade means Lady's meadow. Our smallest cottage, it comfortably sleep 3 and a folding bed can be requested for a 4th person.

KITTWHISTLE

2 bedrooms - 4 people
 

Kittwhistle is named for an area of the farm noted for its special wildlife. It looks out onto a small meadow, as well as the courtyard garden. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. 

LYNCHETS: 

2 bedrooms - 4 people

Lynchets are a medieval field terracing system, which can be seen from this cottage. There are 2 double bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, as well as a spacious open planning living area.

CLEMENTINE

2 bedrooms - 4 people
 

This cottage is named for architect of Wraxall Yard. There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and views of our silvopasture project and woodland. 

LOOKOUT: 

3 bedrooms - 6 people

Lookout is the largest cottage with high ceilings providing a lovely sense of space. It has exceptional views of the woodland. There is a ceiling hoist connecting the twin room with the accessible bathroom.

COMMUNITY SPACE

Larger groups might want to book more than one cottage and use the community space to cook and eat together. Just make sure to let us know to keep the community space free for you.

The community space can accommodate up to 24 people, and is fitted out with a large kitchen and WC.

​

The community space is also used for meetings and workshops, so check the availability calendar or contact us.
